WTH? $69 for “handling.” Is this some kind of joke?

Let’s face it - nobody wants to wear a brand new T-shirt (especially Millennials – who have never been able to afford ANYTHING new). $69 for handling is called “Knowing your audience.” Each Inferior© product is worn or “handled” for a minimum of 7 days before shipping – to ensure it meets our Inferior© standard for quality, comfort, and IRL functionality. And this isn’t just “Sweat-shop in China” handling. This is “Put on the T-shirt, hop on an eScooter, and pick up a steak chalupa at Chipotle while blasting Back in Black on your Walkman” handling – and if this results in avocado stains – BONUS! 



Is it true you’ve eliminated your Layaway Plan?

Yes. Our marketing intern “Shelli with an i” declared that “Layaway” was quote, “An artifact from the 1970’s” and should be replaced with something that Gen Z could relate to - which was all the market research we needed! Our new “Lay-Awake” Plan now let’s people purchase our products – which then remain in our warehouse for 90 days while you lay awake late at night wondering how you’re going to afford it on your Uber wages and crippling student debt payments. We’re now in advanced talks to franchise our Lay-Awake concept for newlyweds, new dog owners, and recent buyers of electric cars. “Shelli with an i” is lobbying to call this new concept BLPL (Buy Later Pay Later) since Gen Z just LOVES acronyms.
